A Day at Croft Eight
Grab a chair and take an early morning coffee onto the patio to watch the sun rise over Skye.
Indoors for breakfast with eggs from over the road and a freshly baked ‘machair’ bun from Temple.
Head across the cliffs at the end of the road, following the grassy path to Rodel and find the 16th century St. Clements church.
Walk on to Lingerbay and grab a lobster roll or seafood chowder at Sam’s Seafood Shack.
Head back over the cliffs towards CroftEight and on to Renish Point, the southern-most tip of Harris. Enjoy views across the Sound towards the Uists and over the Minch to Skye.
Back at CroftEight, nip down to Leverburgh to collect your langoustines or scallops from Seas the Catch.
A sundowner Isle of Harris G&T in the ‘gin porch’ before supper.
Relax in the lounge with a book or play a game.
